With these print resources, both 4th and 6th grade library students will work in small groups at stations, learning about different aspects of the American Revolution as they practice effective research skills. These texts will then serve as springboards for an independent inquiry project of his or her choosing. Students will become comfortable using text features such as indices and glossaries, and will learn the importance of citing resources. The books are on a variety of reading levels, so there should be something for everyone. Each station will have multiple copies of different texts so that students can help one another and work together to complete their assignments.
