Leadership Elective Kick-Off Supplies
Funded Aug 5, 2022The supplies for our Leadership kick off were extremely successful and beneficial! We continue to use them in our second year of Leadership. Many other groups, including Student Council and Class Officers have been able to use our materials as well to share information with the student population in a colorful and creative way!
The students have been so excited to start building community and school spirit through these supplies. They have been able to create multiple campaigns and projects. They are truly so appreciative of your support. Our leadership class has grown over the last year and continues to serve the students and surrounding community. Their most recent project was serving Thanksgiving lunch at three of our elementary schools! They are currently planning a Winter Wonderland Carnival for our local community as a fundraiser for our high school clubs and for their Junior and Senior Prom.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for your support!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Linden

This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares and 2 other donors.Ms. Megan's Motivational Seating Project
Funded Aug 28, 2019I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations that made motivational seating possible in my classroom. It was so fun to see faces light up at the potential of using alternative seating. Yes, even teenagers have moments where their faces light up!
I have learned that before anything, the culture created in my classroom is the key to engaging my students. When they feel safe, comfortable and cared for, the process of learning is much more accessible. I have a handful of students that really seem to engage better when they can use a bean bag or have the option to move from one seat to another. These alternatives may seem small to some people, but I have the opportunity to watch students greatly benefit from these resources.
Knowing that the alternative seating is only available to those who are engaged in reading or an assignment, those who love to sit there are always ready to show that they are engaged and ready to have the privilege of using this seating. It makes my teacher heart happy!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Linden
