This project will give students the opportunity to engage with literature that they can easily relate to. Students will interact with the text and reflect on their own behavior as they connect their personal experiences with the author's. As students read, they will begin to establish their own keys to life and refer to their self established keys throughout the school year. As young people navigate their lives it is important to acknowledge how they should be in the world. The Keys will provide the platform for students to engage in meaningful reflection and discussion, which will benefit their overall growth and development.

About my class
