The eight school chairs I have chosen will allow my students to quickly move from individual desks to collaborative work spaces. I searched my school to find the tables needed to add the flexibility of group spaces to my classroom, but I could only find eight chairs to go with the tables. By having a total of sixteen chairs at five different group work spaces, my students will have the flexibility to move quietly and efficiently into collaborative groups. As a result of the ready to go group work spaces, we will save precious time by not having to rearrange all the desks in the classroom only to move them back in place a short while later. My students deserve the opportunity to have a collaborative work space available to them for peer editing, conferencing, group projects, and various other activities.
