Shakespeare's Macbeth is a classic that most 10th graders read annually. I am excited to teach the book, however I am aware that many of my students will not easily grasp the Old English the text is written in. According to test scores, most of the students reading levels are at a middle school range. No Fear Shakespeare: Macbeth helps students by providing two versions of the classic-the original Old English text as well as a modern English version of the text. The book will allow me to differentiate instruction, reach students where they are and make their reading experience enjoyable.
