Help my students get more hands-on learning in Science! The difficulties of distance learning during the years of COVID-19 have left significant gaps in my students’ past learning. Due to decreased in-person interaction with science concepts, they lack the necessary background knowledge to succeed in 4th-grade science. My students would benefit from more engaging, visual, and hands-on instruction in energy transfer, environments and structure, wave patterns, and the solar system. This type of instruction will create a greater understanding of these core 4th grade standards. The FREY Scientific kits will provide a perfect supplement for my science instruction, allowing for the students to experience deeper interaction with the core standards in an incredibly fun way and memorable way. These engaging projects will help my students easily visualize and comprehend these important concepts. I hope to give them experiences they will never be able to forget!
