Start This School Year With Success!

Thank you so much for all the support to our classroom! We are so grateful here at Highbridge Green School, and thanks to you, we started the school year with success! The materials you provided allowed us to set up clear systems and organizational processes in our classroom, supporting our students with a consistent, routine-oriented environment.

Our students were so excited to get started with their second year at HBGS as 7th graders. As teachers, we were grateful for the time and resources to be able to set up our classroom before the students arrived, with decorations, posters, and their names posted all over the classroom walls, windows, and door. Our constant goal is to provide students with a comforting, supportive environment, and the materials you contributed allowed us to do just that!

With everything in place for the launch of the school year, we were ready for take off! Our students immediately immersed themselves in a host of new content, utilizing rational number operations with negatives (for the first time!!) in math, critically analyzing the impact of American colonization in social studies, discovering the multiple forms of energy across our universe in science, and deepening their understanding of sentence structure through literature. Thanks to you, our students have been able to fully dedicate themselves to learning the content, in an environment with clear structure, places to store their work and collect graded homework, trackers to assess their project, and an overall culture that promotes their goal-achieving growth! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do to support us here at the Highbridge Green School.”
