  • Looking For Some Wiggle Room

    My students and I love the flexible seating that you purchased for the classroom. They were so excited to see the colorful floor chairs, bright green ball chairs and the bean bag chairs.

    Your chairs contribute to the calm, positive learning environment I strive to create for the students. Our classroom is a warm welcoming place where their bodies can now have movement as they sit. They are especially helpful in allowing those with sensory and attention/hyperactive disorders to move freely and comfortably while remaining seated. Currently, some of their favorite spaces are tall tables, with stools, beach chairs and yoga mats with clip boards. The current seating, however, does not have a lot of variety and doesn’t allow for much physical movement. Many students in my class have high energy levels and are easily distracted. Your donation will give these students more fun choices and most importantly, a seat that allows a release of their excess energy while allowing to maintain focus, concentration and minimizing distractions.
