Everyday activities in my class get young historians moving around the room. From code challenges to cup stacking races, I do my best to get kids engaged. With the help of your donation we can offer them the opportunity to use a map in a variety of new ways. Relay races, and location games are just the tip of the iceberg. Students will have a permanent visual that they refer to through the entire year of curriculum. Secondly, flexible seating in my room already includes student rockers, bean bags, and rolling chairs. Every year kids ask if they can sit on the floor, and naturally they stretch out, some lay on their belly while they write. It's all about getting work done your way and it would be my pleasure to have such a colorful diverse map for my scholars.
