My students are a great bunch of kiddos but, no matter how much enthusiasm they have for learning if they don't have the resources it is far more challenging for them to be successful. The Power Pen Math Complete set would be such an asset for class. This set would be used during math stations and for my earlier finishers. The set allows for instant feedback and students can work at their own pace. I would use the number lines for the desk to take the embarrassment from those who aren't a proficient in adding and subtracting. The number lines make an excellent desk helper for problem solving.
Students learn best when they are engaged and having fun! The Multiplication games box set would take my math stations to the next level for my students. They are still young so anything that allows them to play and learn is a great addition to my room. They struggle with multiplication facts but this would be a great way to encourage learning those facts. I do love an organized room and with all the new learning that will take place with the new math stations I need a place to store all the A's they are going to make. The desktop organizer would really help me accomplish staying organized and keeping track of what, when, and where in my class.
