Reading is the key to success in ALL areas of life, and this project will allow me to fill our classroom library with interesting and engaging books! I want to have a variety of texts that include various genres, interests and are up to date. I chose books that my students can relate to, and books that captivate and transport my 4th graders to other worlds. Many of these books are in a series, so students can continue to read books they love. Your support will help put amazing and diverse texts into the hands of my students. Every day, my students have an opportunity to read independently. Having new books set out for them will motivate and keep them engaged in their reading. I strive to make reading both a learning and fun adventure! All my students will have access to these wonderful new books. I want them to see how fun and exciting reading can be!
