Having this carpet will make the best learning environment for 5-year-olds to be able to listen and focus on what is being taught. They will know exactly where to sit and be less likely to get into others' personal space.
I have been teaching for 20 years and have tried taping squares on the carpet, using labels with their names, duct tape, and Velcro circles. None of these things have worked effectively. I have talked to other teachers and they have used this type of carpet that have a square for each student to sit in. I know this carpet would truly benefit my students.
