  • Play Time in 4K!

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

My class is so appreciative of all the special things that we were able to get by the giving of our donors supporting this project. My students love the letter stampers and our new play washer and dryer. Many of my students do not have the luxury of these items at home and school is a place that they are comfortable and safe with some of the best learning materials you can buy. Thank you for giving our students the opportunities that we can now give them by donating to this project. May you all be richly blessed.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Greer

  • Let's Play!

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations that will help to fund my classroom. I love being able to supply my students with all the latest and greatest educational tools that will help my students succeed. This school year I have students who are really struggling with speech and vocabulary usage in the classroom and with their peers. It will be a pleasure to see how much progress they will make from now until the end of the school year. I look forward to posting updates and pictures of my students learning and growing.”

  • Help Us Stay Clean and Healthy

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you so much for aiding our classroom with cleaning supplies during this pandemic. We now have everything we need to keep our classroom healthy and safe. We have 20 students, and thanks to you, will hopefully be sick less often after your donations. This has been a trying time for parents and educators as we do the best we can to keep our children as safe as possible because we know from years past that it is the best option for all children to be in the classroom so that they can learn. You have helped to make that possible. Thank you!”

  • Learning With the Best Math Manipulatives!

    Funded Apr 12, 2021

My students are loving all the new manipulatives that we are using in our classroom! These are making math and learning fun for all students. I teach 4K and many of our students qualify for our program based on academic need, or they qualify due to belonging to a low income family. My students are being given an opportunity they may have never been given due to your donations. Every child deserves the best education we can give them and these donations are allowing that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these things that would never have been able to afford myself.”

  • Rockin' with Pete the Cat for New School Supplies!

    Funded Jun 12, 2020

Thank you so much for all of the new decorations for our classroom. We are able to have a complete Pete the Cat Classroom. The students love Pete, and it has enabled me to create a fun learning environment. I am looking forward to adding new things to our classroom each year.

Due to COVID 19, I have 13 students. I have 10 boys and 3 girls. We are working hard at learning our names and the letters in our name. I hope that by the end of the year, students will be able to recognize their names in our classroom. Thank you so much for your donations and that you are helping young children learn.”

  • Multicultural Books for All Students

    Funded Feb 25, 2020

Thank you so much for your help getting diverse books for my classroom. My students were so excited about the chance to read them. They can see pictures of all ethnicities including, African Americans, Asians, Hispanics, etc. There are explanations of what life is like for children of all races. They also feature stories of families and friends and different careers embedded in the stories. I am so proud of these new additions to our library and I'm reminded how important reading really is for my students. Thank you!”

  • Getting Comfy and Cozy During Nap Time in 4K!

    Funded Aug 11, 2019

Thank you so much for the brand new cots for our classroom! The children have been laying on our new cots for about a month now. They are much easier to move and fit in our space when it's nap time. Nap is a requirement for our 4K program.

The students were really excited about the new cots. They love and appreciate them so much. These children are from low income families and don't always get to enjoy brand new things but that has changed this school year. We are so thankful for all the generous donations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Greer

With the purchase of these 20 new cots, my students will feel more comfortable and well taken care of at school. Due to our program being a federally funded program we are required by the state to have a one hour nap time each day. Our schedule requires academics in the morning and recess and nap time in the afternoon. Many students are getting on the bus at 6:30 am each morning and entering the classroom at 7:15 am. Nap time is a necessity by the afternoon. Our scheduled nap time is a very developmentally appropriate activity for this age group. Many students are exhausted once we lay down at 12:20 pm each day. We play quiet music and give them time to relax and feel comfortable and safe. I am looking forward to giving them this practice again this year.
