Innovation and Design Supports

Learning styles and personalized learning options are a newly accommodation for students in various classrooms. In successfully running a classroom that uses flexible seating, I'm able to still manage students and their learning needs is a large portion of the process. My role in setting up a successful learning environment, is to provide students with alternative seating to maximize their attention to detail and classroom management as well. Due to student being able to chose their seating option, students are empowered to make decisions that are choice based. This small choice provides a positive outcome 'right out of the gate' that move students towards more positive decisions in various areas of campus.

Design students are up and down off the floor, working at tables and on outside surfaces. These chairs that were provided take into account those students who struggle with the up and down portions of the assignments. Students are and will continue to use these amazing chairs for days to come. Thank you for your generous donation!”
