Providing my students with a new classroom rug will help motivate them while sitting and learning as a whole group. Our current classroom rug is very old and falling apart. My students often get distracted by the stringing hanging off and have a hard time sitting comfortably. The classroom rug is used as a learning spot during the majority of the school day for all subjects. I would love to give them a new space where they can complete independent work, enjoy stories, and work side by side with a partner.
