As a dual language teacher, teaching in Spanish to a group of mainly English Speakers can be difficult and confusing at times for my students. They can become discourage when thy have difficulty understanding a lesson in Spanish. By providing them with a literacy center filled with fun books and games will motivate and help them see the gift that is knowing two languages. They will look forward to getting cozy with a book or have fun interacting with their peer while playing a word game. They will be improving their reading, vocabulary, and word recognition while having a blast!
