When the day gets too frustrating and students need to feel calmness and relax a sensory room meets their needs. The lighted table offers a soothing light while students play. Everyone has something they like to watch that the find soothing. The sensory items on my list, Liquid Floor Tiles and Sensory Rings, help students with special needs. They enjoy watching things move and need a safe place to do that. Students love to feel and touch things. With the sensory mats students can feel with their feet (a very sensitive spot). They can also squish the mats with their hands. All this will help students focus and be ready to learn.
