The seating I would like to order for my students will allow them to have choice, comfort, and flexibility with their seating. The excitement they have when they have a say in the way they learn is amazing to see. My students are in fourth grade so allowing them to make some decisions on their own is key. I want my students to feel like they are at home in my classroom. Having seating that is not the usual boring seats in a classroom makes it feel more inviting and like a home. The seating will be used throughout the entire day. They will sit at these seats while eating breakfast/morning activities, during math lessons and science experiments, and while participating in their math rotations. Any time my students can get out of their usual desk seats and go to a different/more comfy environment will make their learning time more enjoyable.
