I am a first-year teacher, and I couldn’t be more excited. My background as an educational technician in special education has helped me develop a passion for doing everything I can to ensure the success of ALL students in my class, and providing options for students who need extra support. These wobble stools and cushions will be crucial for students who need the movement opportunities this seating provides to be able to focus their attention on their task, without disrupting other students. Having a choice of flexible seating will also help empower students to self-assess and choose which type of seat will help them to be most successful in that moment. These wobble stools and cushions will be in my classroom for years to come; they will not only benefit my current students, but future students as well.
