Teaching in a full inclusion classroom, with minimal support, comes with its challenges. I have students reading everywhere from a preschool reading level to a fifth grade reading level. This has presented me with the challenging task of providing individualized instruction without much support, while still teaching grade level content. My goal is to get all students reading on grade level, by the end of the year. This conference will provide me with the knowledge and tools necessary to meet the literacy needs of all of my students. My students will benefit from this conference, because I will be able to bring back the knowledge gained, into their everyday learnings.
