Thank you so much for the generous donation. Your donation allowed me to give my students fun, interactive assignments to keep them engaged in learning!

I teach a Gifted and Talented classroom and my students need to be challenged with your help, I was able to raise the rigor in my class and have my students think beyond the text. They were able to do more project-based learning, which allowed them to work on topics across curricula.

  • A Printer for Thinkers!

    Funded Dec 10, 2023

The minute I opened the box, I was so excited for what this printer can do for our classroom in all subject areas.

I am making my students personal anchor charts for both Math and ELA and it is so nice for them to be excited to see these anchor charts in color. The children are proud to show them off and use them.

We have written informational essays and the students were able to use the color printer to add photographs, maps, charts and tables to enhance their essays.

This printer has also allowed me to go beyond the textbooks that we have, so my children can have more challenging work. I have printed many projects, center activities and classwork that has really raised the rigor in my classroom.

There are endless opportunities that this printer can bring to our classroom and we are looking forward to using it each and every day.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hoffman

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom.

My students look forward to reading their Scholastic News and Scholastic Storyworks every week. My students love the variety of text structures, video clips and the follow up activities. These magazines lead to a lot of great class discussions

You have helped to ignite a sense of wonder and have given my student another outlet for their love of reading and learning. They have enriched their vocabulary when speaking and writing. They have been able to build their content area knowledge.”

Scholastic Storyworks and Scholastic News Magazines will be used in the classroom to enrich my third graders. My third graders are in a Gifted and Talented program and are in need of resorces to help challenge their thinking in new and interesting way. I choose to get the magazine that is good for children in grades 4-6 because my students are reading at a higher level. I needed more rigouous texts to raise my students levels. The magazines will expose my students with authentic texts that will help them in reading, writing, speaking and listening. They will also help my students hone vocabulary and grammar- and have fun while doing it. These magazines will offer my studetns the opportunity to read independently, in small group or with a partner. Each student will have their own magazine so they can be actively engaged in the reading process. They will be able to take them home and continue to share their learning with their families.
