My students are adorable and "work hard to get smart" every day. They attend a Title I school in Phoenix, Arizona. Our class is very diverse, with students from Mexico, Cuba, and Iraq. My students believe that they have been chosen by Barack Obama to complete a secret mission this year in kindergarten: to learn how to read and write. They work hard every day to accomplish this mission.
