Recess Fun!
Funded Sep 24, 2022My students are using the new resources by playing basketball, soccer, and kickball everyday at recess. They play uno, dominoes, and math dice game during indoor recess. They also bring their ball to school and use the air pumps to air them up. The ball bags makes it easy to carry the balls. The students also really loved the sidewalk chalk. They love drawing pictures.
The students were so excited when they saw all the items that were donating. They was very appreciative of everything. I have been buying the balls the past few years, but it gets expensive and the balls wear out. The students love playing with all the balls at recess.
Thank you so much for donating these items to my classroom. The students are able to have fun things to do at recess whether it is indoors or outdoors. I have about 125 students and all of them enjoy the items that was donated.”

Funded Aug 5, 2019Thank you so much for your donation. I received a total of $754.00 in books. My classroom received 117 new books with your donation.
These books have helped my students reach their AR goals. The students have to get a certain amount of AR points and read at least 4 AR books for each nine weeks. These book provided a variety of levels and interest. My students are at different reading levels, so it has been a challenge to have a variety of books on their level. This donation has helped so much in providing a variety of levels to these students.
Reading in my classroom looks like a library. Students are reading and enjoying reading. Some students have picture books while others have chapter books. I have a system of checking in and out books, so the students are accountable for the books.
I have several students that have found new interest in different books because I have such a variety of books now. The students are able to read all the books in a series.”
