Phonological Awareness Fun!
Funded Mar 8, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students went crazy when they saw the new activities and wanted to play them all in one day. These activities and games are very interactive and fun. My most struggling student loves them because they are colorful and bright, which gets his attention. My students want to use them every day.
I use these activities and games during small group time. My students each have their own unique needs, so these activities help me differentiate their work. These activities have helped a lot in the classroom since they are created and planned. Once again, thank you so much for your donations.”

Funded Mar 7, 2023Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom. My students are absolutely loving the new games. My students do not realize that they are learning through these games. These games have brought so much fun and excitement to the classroom that my students ask to play these games daily. We are getting ready for state testing, so these games have been a great help since they are standard-aligned. I am really grateful that you were able to provide these fun learning games to my classroom. Once again, thank you so much for your generous donations.”

Funded Feb 8, 2023Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. My students were very excited to see these two new seats in our classroom; they all ran to be the first person to try them. With these seats, my wiggle students can now sit on the floor and finish their work as they let their wiggles out. These seats have also been used as an incentive. For example, if students finish their work, they can go to the library to get a book, then they can read the book on one of the seats. My next step would be to get two more seats so I can have small groups on the floor, or to have kids sit together to read books together. Once again, thank you so much for your donation to our classroom.”

Crazy About Math
Funded Jan 24, 2023Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. When I opened the boxes in the classroom, my students went crazy over the new games and resources. They wanted to play with them all right away. On Fridays, I like to have Fun Fridays where we play educational games and have fun. My students love playing with Are You Ready For 2nd/3rd Grade. After playing this game, I decided to have a classroom store where the kids can use the money they won during the game to buy toys or snacks. All these games and materials have brought great fun and laughter to the classroom. My next step is to get a karaoke microphone to make the games look more realistic. I will also use these games to help my students learn more about money and how to handle money. Once again thank you so much for your donation.”

Making Reading, Writing, and Math Fun!
Funded Oct 11, 2022Thank you so much for your donations. My students were absolutely excited when they found out we got funded. They are having so much fun using all the manipulatives and games that are helping them with reading, writing, and math. We are using these resources during small-group instruction and throughout the day as well. At the moment we are doing an intensive reading intervention. I have two groups of four students where we target phonics and phonemic awareness. We work on sounding out words, blending, spelling, reading and comprehension, and writing a well-detailed sentence. My students look forward to group time because of the fun resources you contributed to our classroom. Our next step is to test students on their reading and hope they went up on their reading levels. A few students have been tested, and they have gone up one or two reading levels.”

Funded Sep 5, 2020Thank you so much for your donation to my project. My students were so excited when I showed them their new materials. I was happy that I got to laminate writing offices for my students. I got to send this home without worrying if my students will accidentally rip them. I also got to send home manipulatives that have been a great help during this time. At the moment we are working hard on writing, so I have my students take out their writing offices and spaceman's. With your help my students have been able to reach their IEP goals and benchmarks. Thank you for making this year wonderful. My students and I are so grateful.”
