These Items will be a great addition to my sensory area. I have a goal this year to increase my sensory area and make it one that helps my student get their sensory need taken care of during the time they are in sensory. When we start centers they should be able to concentrate and be productive. I want my student to have a place that they can go to feel safe and feel happy. In the morning time when we are getting everyone ready for school, my students will have an area of the room to help them get their sensory needs met before we start class. We will use them after lunch, before recess and at the end of the day to transition back to home. I hope to use all the building items (blocks, magnets, marble run, flakes and disk) for the kids who are good with their hands. This is a way for the student to transition from home to school as it calms them. I would like the moon tube and projector with the liquid fusion pads to give them something to look at and unwind. The peg board and baskets will be used to hang on item form them to use to build on. I plan to use the sparkly material for the walls so the kids can use their sense of touch. The water beard are going into sensory boxes in the area for the kids to touch. This is a way to help all my student with all their services, I took time to pick items that will help with their physical therapy and speech therapy also!
