This project was created to give my students the tools to excel in our 3rd grade learning community. By donating materials to my 3rd grade class, you help us ensure that every child begins the school year ready to learn, without the worry of acquiring personalized school supplies. This project provides convenience to families and students, and ensures that all kids will have exactly what they need throughout the school year. With this project, 3rd grade students in class 3-414 will have school supplies for the entire year: notebooks, folders, paper, pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, and everything else they need to be successful the entire year long. We will use notebooks, pencils, pens and folders to create and store our fabulous Writing projects. We will use markers, crayons, and watercolor paper to create amazing self-portraits and other art projects throughout the year. These materials will be used to engage in daily lessons in all content areas, as well as for Project Based Learning Activities. By gathering our materials collectively, the kids are able to receive more materials at a lower cost than purchasing them individually. It's a wonderful solution to a usually expensive, time-consuming, and inequitable task.
