Hello everyone, I am a recent college graduate student. It will be my first year of teaching. Though I am new to the teaching profession, I have spent my life preparing for such a career. I enjoyed everything about the process of watching, teaching, and helping children become successful in education. Their wonder-filled eyes and minds are meant to be shaped and aided. There is nothing more rewarding than doing just that. For a child to gain as much as they can from education, they need to learn in a classroom that is well equipped with learning materials. As a result, I am humbly requesting for funds to buy classroom materials and help me create a meaningful classroom environment for my students with mild to moderate autism. I have been given the opportunity to have my own class as a K-2 autism core curriculum special education teacher this coming school year 2019/2020, which begins in August. I was able to step into my classroom this summer and came across an empty classroom with only desks, chairs, and curriculum! I am worried that my students will not get the best from me because I lack the necessary materials to bring out their full potential in academics. As a recent college graduate, stuck with student loans, has limited my funds in building my own classroom, and the last thing I want in life is to be set up for failure. I am requesting financial support from any well-wishers. I cannot equip my classroom without any help from you good people. More heads are better than one, and with your help, I am sure my students will get the best out of the education that I will provide them. Thank You so much in advance.
