Active Listening Stations

Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to work on integrating more technology into my classroom. My students are just as excited about this new addition as I am. We greatly appreciate everything that you have contributed. As soon as we receive our package, we will be starting these stations in all of my classes. We look forward to seeing how this revolutionizes the way students read and comprehend information.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Walmart and 3 other donors.

These MP3 players will have podcasts downloaded on them. I will have two of six groups work with these each week as a part of literacy stations. This station will require students to listen to the podcast for that month and answer questions about it. As many of my students work best and focus best when they are moving around, having these podcasts of MP3 players will allow them to move around some while listening to their podcasts. Having these MP3 players will not only give me the opportunity to work in these stations, but to expand later to more active learning activities.
