My students are in need of laundry detergent to wash their school clothing throughout the year. In our school, my goal is to promote healthy habits and hygiene as well as meeting students basic needs. The majority of my students are living in low income communities. Many families struggle with being able to provided their kids with the basic necessities and supplies to help promote proper hygiene. There are many days I observe students wearing the same clothes to school and not only are they the same, they haven't been washed. I understand that many parents may not be able to purchase laundry detergent and by helping with my project, you would be helping so many families and students building their confidence with clean, fresh clothes!
