The 28 students I am happy to serve came to school on the first day without a single crayon, marker, or writing tool. With the little I had to give, I bought enough supplies for 6 student per group to share a single pack of markers, crayons and pencils. It is not enough for the classroom.
I want to give students something that they can cherish and use to make learning fun and colorful. The expo markers will be used for math. Instead of basic photo copies of math worksheets, the students will be able to use their mini whiteboards to practice their math skills and easily show me if they understand the math.
The felt tip pens will be used to make the student's writing bold and visually stunning when they are presented in the classroom.
With the help of donors, I hope to show students that we are all artists who are always creating a masterpiece.
