The materials I am requesting as part of this project are essential to the operation of our classroom. In our program, we have 25 students who play on reed instruments. They require a new reed every 2-4 weeks on average. In addition, quality practice pads and sticks will allow for my percussionists to have a more effective at-home practice experience. For many of the families in our program, purchasing the essential supplies their instrument requires can be a financial struggle. With the items in this project, I will be able to provide my students with quality reeds, sticks, and percussion practice pads to help them achieve their maximum potential.
