In addition to serving students who are English language learners, I also have to differentiate for GT and SPED students. I have to appeal to a variety of means of learning. During the school year, we analyze articles, stories, and poems. Once that is done, students are usually assigned a performance indicator and have various outlets in which they can publish. A Surface would allow students who are tech-savvy to create and publish projects. The art materials will help students who are artistic or like to work with manipulatives. Students will be able to express their individuality with these options.
