My students are eager to learn and have the need to experience success. However, due to their learning disabilities, they need differentiated instruction to reach their academic goals. I believe they will benefit from the use of technology because it will facilitate access to their recommended accommodations and improve their ability to produce independent work. With technology, I will be able to record instructions, read questions out loud, and add vocabulary to their given assignments. In the area of science, my students will be able to have quick access to visual representations of specific concepts and tools. In the area of math, they will be able to learn through apps, games, and projects that they can’t do independently and present them to the class to promote self-confidence and peer learning.
