Kids will use these keyboards every day to learn and create music. They are perfect for instruction because they can be played all together or in small groups, or individually with headphones. Students of all ages (even kindergarten) will play and benefit from these instruments as a core aspect of our music program, but the middle school students will especially benefit. For the middle school students learning Music Theory, a keyboard is an essential instructional tool. It is a complete instrument that spans the bass and treble clefs and can be used to easily illustrate musical concepts such as harmony, melody, and rhythm. Grades 6-8 are learning to compose their own musical scores, and it would be ideal if they could work their musical ideals out on a keyboard.
