Every child should have the same opportunity for success despite their individual background. In order to be effective in the classroom, teachers must have the necessary tools to help their students. We are requesting two Fire tablets, fluency building cards, Phonics and Language Skills Building Folders, newsprint chart paper, storage bins and more for a vibrant classroom that promotes early literacy and numeracy so that I may build students who will be college and career ready! Literacy is a vital part of education. As an educator, I want my students to have experience reading all types of text. By helping fund my Language Arts materials, I will have tools needed to incorporate various reading activities into our daily instructions. The reusable teaching charts will allow me to teach literature standards in a way so that all learners can comprehend. I will use the storage bins to help with organization for collaborative learning groups. Organization is a key factor in a classroom flowing easily. This is my first year teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada and I'm teaching in a new grade. Please help me make this a successful year for my students and I.
