The materials requested in this project will not only help my students feel more organized but will also help them be successful in their learning! Messy desks are running rampant in our 1st-grade classroom and these trays will help us keep the mess under control. My students will benefit from sturdy headphones when working on their literacy program on the iPad. The program requires them to listen to words that are spoken to them and then respond. When the whole class is working on their iPads it can get noisy and students may not hear what they should. With headphones, they will successfully complete their literacy lessons without distractions. During our calendar time, we have been learning about telling time without any clocks to use hands-on. I would love to see my students telling time with these clocks and filling out their calendar journal with dry-erase markers.
