My classroom is a diverse population. Having flexible seating will benefit my students with sensory needs, as well as the water abc bubbles to incorporate literacy into the sensory table. The multicultural dolls are especially important as our school grows more diverse. All these materials will students function in the school , while meeting math, literacy , fine motor, and social emotional outcomes. Patterning is an outcome of the early childhood expectations, and the nuts is an interactive material that works ok patterning, color recognition, and fine motor all at the same time! All the materials are in the kids hands to help them learn , I teach math many different ways and the ten frame is a great visual tool to use at circle time and small group!
