With so many students who need to move, these items will help my students stay active and assist them in focusing on hard learning. Studies have shown, and I've personally found, that writing, reading, and test-taking are infinitely easier for all of my students (kinesthetic learners, especially) when they have a safe, quiet, and appropriate way to move in the classroom. By donating to this project, you will not only be helping my students stay active during difficult cognitive tasks, but you will also be assisting them in finding a love of writing and reading! By being able to move their physical selves when they are trying to do difficult introspective cognitive tasks, students will have greater success in my classroom. When their bodies are busy, their minds are allowed to focus on the tasks at hand. This will help develop physical well-being by encouraging them to be active as often as possible in their everyday lives.
