    Dear Donor,

I truly appreciate your help with funding our classroom project. Vocabulary cards are such an important part of early childhood learning. Early literacy skills are an essential building block for children who are learning to speak English. My students, parents, and I are very thankful for your donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. LaBrecque

  • Organization For All Students

    Funded Jun 24, 2021

Thank you very much for your donations to my classroom. On the first day of school, students came in and were soo happy to see their new room. One girl even said "it is soo pretty!"

Every day we sit on our rug and use the beautiful bulletin boards. The kids feel happy and safe in my classroom. In a recent Ted Talk, the speaker mentioned now circles remind people of happy things, such as bubbles, the sunshine and confetti! I truly feel that while students are in my classroom, my walls remind them to be happy!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. LaBrecque

My K/1 class is switching from paper and pencil to learning through play and manipulatives! We will learn through exploring and interacting. We will make school a place where children want to go, where they can feel safe and secure. They will learn important social skills through play, stories and direct instruction. The will also learn through theme based lessons where they rotate to centers to interact with each other as they use the set manipulatives. The requested manipulatives such as alphabet learning locks and Alpha-Bots will further enhance their understanding of the theme through play. Research has proven that children need more play in their daily routine.
