  • STEM Bins for the Win

    Funded Aug 1, 2024

My students are loving the stem bins. We use them daily to exercise their creativity. They especially love the brain flakes, tangrams, and magnet tiles. When they come in they love using these for morning work. It starts the day off so productive and allows them to feel successful first thing in the morning. They have really created some cool things together.

I love having them work on groups to create things. This has really build my classes sense of community and helped them learn to work together.

Thank you so much for making this possible for my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lindeman

  • Making Math Make Sense

    Funded Jun 21, 2021

Our classroom has come alive with the new resources that you have helped provide. We have been able to make math fun by playing games and using manipulative to learn higher level math!

When the students first saw the packages they were VERY excited! We talked about how community members helped up fund the things in our class and they were very thankful.

The next step is to continue to used games to engage students and make them lifelong learners. Thank you for helping make our community and kids stronger through their education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lindeman

Math games and whiteboards are used daily to allow students to become masters in math fluency, creating an environment where students are confident in their abilities and willing to take risks when math becomes challenging for them. In my classroom, we use these games and/or whiteboards every day to warm up our brains for the hard work ahead. Kids love the interactive component of these games and playing games on their whiteboards, as well as practicing new skills. Right now we have chalkboards in the front of our class. The students are able to see better on large whiteboards with bold markers and love the clean aspect of being able to come to the front and show off their work without using chalk.
