With technology, there is no limitation to the possibilities of what a student is able to learn and accomplish. The overall goal of this project is to ensure that students are prepared to take on any technology they are presented with, with confidence. I want to be able to teach them the basic computer skills in small groups to enhance their ability to work with technology in any aspect. By donating to our project, you will allow students to create the foundational computer skills they will need to succeed in our ever-changing world. In our school, there are computers located in the great rooms. However, my class is located outside in a portable. While some teachers inside the building are able to send students just outside of their rooms to work on the computers, it is not an option for my students. Furthermore, I want to be able to work closely with them to ensure that they become proficient in navigating computers. Once students have become familiar with using computers, they will be able to access programs that will enhance their learning in the classroom. Various online programs put students on their own learning paths to create a more personalized education. Even if students spend only a short time per day, they will be able to receive an even more targeted approach to learning through technology.
