A strong classroom community fosters respect for each individual that makes up the community. Students feel respected when their needs are heard and met. With 22 students present, it can be hard to balance meeting the behavioral and academic needs of each child. Flexible seating will not only help address behavioral concerns that can be present by students who need to constantly move, but it also helps students focus so they're more productive and successful with academic tasks. My overall goal is that students will learn accountability as they discover more about themselves and what they need to be successful in the classroom setting.

About my class
