• Code It and It Will Move

  Good morning and Happy New Year. Thank you for donating to our classroom community to make this project a reality. You really made a difference!

  Your generous donation helped to bring our coding program to life. Using microrobots, coders can add their codes to the bots and see the results of their coding. This led students to create more creative codes for their bots.

  Students compete with one and other to see which bots can do the coolest things. Wow! So again thank you for your donations.”

• Let Them Print!

  Thank you for your generous donation "Let Them Print." Your donation allowed me to purchase a printer for our classroom community. We are using the printer for completing classroom magazines. When my students saw that the work they produced could be presented in magazine form, they flipped out!

  So using the printer and printing on 11x17 paper in landscape format, we are able to produce student magazines. Wow, they look great and students are able to pass out copies to their classmates.

  Thank you for support in helping our classroom community secure school supplies. Many parents are facing tough economic times and your support makes a huge difference.

  My students are using the resources to highlight text evidence in the novels they are reading. They are using Post It notes to write notes on writing assignments. They are using the clip boards when they are working is small groups.

• 3D Printing Project Based Learning

  The 3D printer has had a huge impact on my classroom community. We have been able to add excitement to classroom projects. For example, we were able to make 3D printer made items to classroom projects about kindness. The kindness badges were a big "hit."

  Because of you generous donation I have been able to add a new level of learning and excitement to our classroom community. This has sparked more creativity among my students and has helped them improve their descriptive writing and imagination.”

• What Shall I Read?

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our "What Shall We Read" project. Because of your generous donation I have been able to purchase fiction novels that engage students in the art of making predictions while reading.

  Your donation also helped increase the size of our classroom library. Now my students have over 800 books to choose from, while not nearly enough it gives my students more choice in what they choose to read.

• More Seating Choices!

  Your donation has impacted my classroom in such a positive way. With more seating choices more students are able to enjoy flexible seating. When they are reading during choice reading being comfortable and cozy makes them enjoy reading more.

  Now nearly half of my class has more flexible seating choice. There are a total of 14 choices in flexible seating choices available.

  Because flexible seating is so expensive your generous donation gets my classroom closer too our goal of 1 to 1 flexible seating.

• Let's Get Organized

  Funded Nov 3, 2022

  Your donation will help my students organize their various reading resources. With so many notes and assignments having those items all in one binder will help. For example, I three hole punch the notes on figurative language, and my students simply place them in their binders. When they need the notes they simply go to their binder.

  Additionally, students will be able to store completed assignments in their binder for future reference. Parents can use the binders to find classroom notes to help their child study and understand what we are doing in class.

• More Classroom Learning Opportunities

  Your generous donation to our classroom community has had a huge impact. By being able to provide more resources for learning I am able to differentiate instruction to meet students "right where they are" within a particular skill or concept. That is huge!

  My students are excited because now they have more choices when it comes to assignments. Instead of everyone doing the same assignment there might be two or three different assignments, but all working on the same skill.
