As a first-year teacher, I want to be able to give my students everything they need to succeed. I have spent hours shopping making sure everything on my list will benefit them! I want my students to understand the value of community, compassion, courage, curiosity, and craftsmanship. I chose specific books to read aloud to the class that conveys these values. I want my students to have space in the classroom where they can go when they need a break. This space will be filled with encouraging books, fidgets, and art supplies to help students gather themselves before returning to the whole group. I am very excited for the school year! Help me make this classroom an engaging, supportive environment for all students!
