I know that many students do not have access to books at home. Yes, there are many public libraries in the Louisville area, but many students just do not have a way to get to a library to read a book. I want to encourage reading and have books readily available to take the guesswork out of where to get a book to read. I only have a few books to put into my classroom, and I'd like to have an abundance of choices for our diverse students, with diverse interests. Please, help fund this project so I can help students understand the power of literacy.
