    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom project! We got this funded in one day thanks to your support! This document camera will help us with learning, sharing work, art and so much more! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. Thank you again!”

  • Wiggle Wobble Learning Environment!

    Funded Aug 8, 2022

My students are absolutely loving their wiggle wobble chairs! They love having movement throughout the day while learning. It allows for quiet movement while the other kiddos in our classroom are able to concentrate with very little distractions.

When the students first sat in the chairs, they thought Ms. Northington's chairs were the best! This was only possible due to your generous donation. I even have teachers comment on them weekly and are looking into getting a class set of their own!

    I appreciate your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Northington

  • Class Store 2021-2022

    Funded Jun 6, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom! By purchasing these items, students have the ability to spend their Dojo points on supplies from our classroom store!

The students absolutely LOVE the squishy that were added to the store. These and the key chains are a huge hit! The students were so excited when I added a new box and it promoted excellent behavior instantly! The students knew they wanted to choose one on Friday, the day we shop out of our store.

Myself and the students appreciate your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Northington

  • Social Emotional Learning Through Literature, While Applying Art

    Funded Feb 22, 2021

Thank you so much for making a donation to our classroom! The students absolutely LOVED the book, Because of Winn Dixie. They begged me everyday to keep reading chapter after chapter.

We looked at Opal's character and how it changed over time. We also created our own mistake tree that was displayed outside of our classroom in the hallway. At the end of the book, we watched the movie to compare and contact the book to the movie.

This was absolutely a huge hit and the students are still talking about it. I have learned personally, I need to look into getting another book for another book study next year. Every single student in my classroom had their head in their book and following along during each days reading.

Thank you again for your donation in making our social emotional learning fun!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Northington

  • Ms. Northington's Classroom Make Over

    Funded Aug 3, 2020

Thank you so much for helping replace all the items in my classroom. The students were welcomed into this trying year in a welcoming classroom full of items to help them learn. We have used our new books and classroom supplies for several different projects throughout the year. The students were so excited when they came came into the classroom to all new supplies. Moving forward throughout the year, we hope to add our rug to our classroom sooner rather than later. Covid has definitely impacted us more than just our normal daily schedule. Thank you again for helping make this year memorable and special to my 3rd grade class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Northington

In early June 2020, our school suffered severe weather damage. Specifically, the combination of water that leaked into the building and the humidity level in the building caused mold to grow profusely. Due to the school being closed, the damage was found in late July. Metro Disaster teams cleaned out each classroom having to discard a majority of items in the classroom to protect our students and teachers. All porous items were discarded, and all non-porous items were sanitized and restored by Metro Disaster. Unfortunately, very few items were able to be cleaned and sanitized other than furniture. The items listed are needed to help get our school year started with the necessary supplies for teaching, learning and providing a welcoming environment for my students.
