  • Small Hands, Big Dreams: Equipping Our 3K Learners

    Funded Nov 17, 2023

I am thankful for your generous contribution to our classroom. Your support means the world to me and my students. Thanks to your kindness, we now have the materials to enhance our learning environment and empower our students to reach their full potential.

The impact of your donation extends far beyond the materials received; you have shown my students that their education matters and that there are caring individuals like you who believe in their success. Your investment in our learning journey will not be forgotten, and I am committed to ensuring that every student benefits from your generosity.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Your kindness has made a difference in the lives of our students, and for that, we are truly grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bishop

  • Starting the Year Off Positive!

    Funded Sep 10, 2020

This really helped me keep my classroom organized last year! Everyone was able to have their own materials and some leftover as well. The tray helped them become independent because they knew where to put their folders when they came into the classroom. The sharpener of course helped us keep our pencils sharpened. Thank you so much for helping my students, paraprofessionals and I have a positive start to the year to a year that was stressful on all of us. Th students, their parents, and myself.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bishop

  • First We Learn Then We Earn!

    Funded Sep 17, 2019

Thank you so much for contributing to helping my students grow and learn! When the items first got to the classroom, my students were excited to see what was inside the box. Well, first they were excited to see boxes haha.

I have used each of the items received. The Magnetic Sight-Word Sentence Board helps me teach new sight words to my students and they are able to use it to make their own sentence and they love it because it gives them confidence when they are able to read it. Their favorite is the sorting rhyming houses because not only does it enhance their rhyming skill ability but they also enjoy filling in the houses. The classroom caddy has helped me as a teacher become more organized, i am able to have the caddy at the table and the students are able to get what they need without searching for it. Two of my students love the pre-writing magnetic board, it helps them with stamina in keeping their hand moving and making the strokes needed that will help them write their letters. I used the book baggies to extend the learning to home, each week they take three books and read at home with an adult.

Thank you so much for your contribution; it has made both reading and writing fun in my classroom. We really appreciate it, your contribution has not gone unnoticed.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bishop

I am choosing materials to start off my classroom year fun, engaging and an environment in which they can learn. These materials will enhance their literacy, writing, and phonemic awareness skills. I chose materials that will help me provide the best resources for my children to enhance their abilities whether it be reading or writing. My vision is to use these as small group activities as well as centers when they are able to grasp the content themselves. I also want to foster independence for my children and I believe these materials will help because they do not require much planning other than teaching them how to interact with the activity or game. My students thrive on hands-on activities and enjoy them so I know that these materials will not be a waste in my classroom. To give you more of a vision, I will use the magnetic sight word board as a material for when I am teaching and reviewing sight words. The rhyming houses will be used as a literacy center so they will be able to identify rhyming words on their own. The pre-writing board and write the letter activity center will be used as a writing center so they can form letters on their own for the students with that goal. I want the book baggies so they can have the ability to choose their own books that they like to read by themselves. The classroom caddy is to keep materials organized within the classroom.
