Having a classroom library will allow my students to be able to check books out and take them home to read. Also the library will allow my students to expand their own libraries at home so they can read with their own families. I’d love to get a collection of Goosebumps, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Babysitters Club, Captain Underpants. Along with biographies of Maya Angelou, Misty Copland, Stephen Curry, and Kendrick Lamar. I also think that my library should be full of diverse books because I want the kids that I work with to be able to identify with the stories and pictures within. Kid friendly interesting books! That the kids will actually love to read.
