My students are part of a dual language public school where they are fortunate to learn Spanish and English content on a daily basis. Students will be able to take books home provided by the teacher. The books will be bilingual and give the chance for English or Spanish speaking parents to really be involved during reading time at home. Books would be sent either daily or weekly and then be returned when completed. Not only could this enhance parent involvement, it would also provide quality time with their children. My classroom needs enough bilingual books to have students take home different books throughout the school year.
