We are moving! The school that I have taught at for 31 years has moved. We are joining a nearby middle school and we will become a Kindergarten thru 8th grade school. As exciting as this is, we will not have a classroom carpet in our new room. This carpet will serve as a central gathering spot for my students. We will use it for most lessons and activities which include but, are not limited to reading/story time, daily calendar lessons, math with mapulatives, oral language activities and playing and building activities. Kindergarteners spend more time in this type of hands-on learning environment rather than sitting at a table or desk. Your support will really be like proving a hug with a rug.
